Storyline:
Framed by an ex-partner for a murder he did not commit, Tobey Marshall, a financially struggling custom-car builder and street-racer, spends two years in jail thinking about one moment. Fresh out of prison he reacquires the fastest car his workshop ever built and sold, and seeks to enter a secretive and extremely high-stakes race known as The DeLeon. His purpose; redemption, recognition from the world of racing and to solve his problems. Yet all this fades in comparison to his driving reason. Revenge. Above all, revenge. This is a story about love, redemption, revenge and motor oil all swirled together, but above all; It's a story about fast, fast cars.

Over half way through into the movie, it just stops, so I close it, and start it again, and the same problem occurs. So, I download it again, and the same fucking issue occurs! There's no point in reporting issues here since the fucking support never replies.

Need for Speed over delivered for a movie about a video game. Kid Cudi did an amazing job playing the role of Ludacris. They should make the sequel R and put some titties in it.

I went with my 25 year old grandson and we had a blast. It's visually stunning and if you like fast driving and crashing cars, you'll love it. Aaron Paul is a darn good actor and brings gravitas to a role that lesser actors would have tossed off as no big deal. The pretty blonde is also good--and isn't just an afterthought--she actually brings important stuff to the story while acting as a foil to Paul's character. The relationships between the group of men are wonderful to watch. There's one Black guy and one Latino, tokens as usual, but they are pivotal to the plot and the Black guy doesn't get killed off at all! Dominic Cooper is a great slimy villain from the get go. With an American accent, oddly enough. (Do American actors get cast anymore?) Michael Keaton has a ball with his character) Lots of special effects--how else do you do however many car crashes they did--must have been a headache to shot, but worth it. Overall, well written, well acted and beautifully shot

From the Train racing, car eliminations, hot pursuits, this movie screams fake! But thats alright! Because it stuck to the need for speed game series and kept it real to itself, that alone is an accomplishment! I loved how it included many types of cars, some classic, muscle, and exotic! I do wish they would have had at least SOME imports, and maybe even exotic police cars lol, but in all I loved the movie. The plot was predictable, but that didn't take away from the excitement of the film. Seen it multiple times already with my family, and will gladly go again! it is a must see!

This movie was decent, not spectacular - but I will admit that it had me on the edge of my seat for most of the car scenes. Definitely not for the squeamish behind the wheel as the cars and cinematography really bring you into 'the moment' when the racing is going on. Some my my favorite things in this movie - the Mustang as a tribute to Carroll Shelby (RIP), the Ford Torino (gotta love american muscle), the Koenigsegg Agera R - just because it's a Koenigsegg, and the ending - because I took my kids to that lighthouse last year over spring break! I'll give it a thumb-up for viewing, the plot is like any car movie - pretty bleak, but the cars are stellar :)
